We are a licensed, bonded, and fully insured contractor in the state of Texas. We have licensed irrigators, chemical application specialists, and certified arborists ready to tackle any fertilization, pest management, or tree care need. We work with some of the largest general contractors in the country as well as a premier group of Central Texas home builders. We carry the standard suite of general liability and umbrella insurance. We provide workman’s compensation for our labor force and can bond projects in excess of $3mm. We are a licensed ROW contractor with the City of Austin.
Our company owns and operates a wide array of excavators, skid steers, dozers, dump trucks, trenchers, rock saws, and compaction equipment. Strata has multiple welding rigs, mobile generators, impact equipment, and hundreds of power tools. We run a large fleet of late model heavy duty pickups, dump trucks, and a variety of trailers to move equipment and materials efficiently and safely. Our team includes CDL drivers and licensed equipment operators. We take pride in providing our own branded equipment and look forward to growing our fleet further over time.
At Strata Landscape, environmental stewardship is a core value. We recycle all scrap metal and we compost all organic waste. 100% of any remaining waste material (wood, concrete, and construction debris) is sorted and recycled off site by a licensed third-party vendor. We regularly conduct invasive species removals. We also employ assertive SWPPP procedures, erosion control, and water resource protection. We donate resources and services to non-profits such as The Trail Conservancy, Austin Parks Foundation, and Hill Country Conservancy.

He directs Strata’s strategic growth, overseeing business development, design documentation, and project financing with a focus on long-term sustainability. A dedicated advocate for the Texas landscape, Tyler has served on the City of Austin Waterfront Planning Advisory Board and remains an active partner to the Austin Parks Foundation, Downtown Austin Alliance, and The Trail Conservancy.
Fabian brings over two decades of construction mastery to Strata, specializing in the execution of the region's most complex and high-profile projects. His portfolio includes iconic Texas landmarks such as The Perot Museum of Nature and Science and The Austonian, where precision and scale are paramount. Known for an uncompromising eye for detail, Fabian manages personnel scheduling and on-site operations, ensuring that every build exceeds the most rigorous industry standards while maintaining an efficient, safe working environment.
With more than 15 years of experience in landscape maintenance and construction, Mike brings deep expertise in chemical applications, integrated pest management (IPM), and overall landscape care. As Operations Manager for Strata’s Maintenance division, he oversees account performance, field operations, and quality control across multiple properties. Mike continues to be hands-on with maintenance programs and enhancement projects, ensuring every site meets Strata’s standards for safety, efficiency, and curb appeal.
Clayton brings extensive experience in landscape management and client relations across both commercial and residential sectors. With a robust background in operations, estimating, and customer service, he plays a key role in developing new partnerships and ensuring existing clients receive premier support. Clayton’s practical field knowledge and relationship-driven approach are essential to the performance and growth of Strata’s maintenance division.
Joe has worked in both landscape maintenance and landscape construction throughout the lower 48. A consummate professional with clients and always eager to tackle whatever challenge we request of him. Joe shows up early and stays late to help line out maintenance crews and keep a keen eye on enhancement projects. Strata relies on Joe's attention to detail to ensure our QC is top notch.
George joins us from Central Texas. He has worked in landscape construction and general contracting for the last 20 years. He has experience across multiple disciplines including large-scale landscape enhancements, concrete, fabrication, irrigation, and other basic utilities. He has a sense of positivity that's hard to match, is eager to tackle challenging projects, and puts customer service front and center on every job.
Grayson joins us from the Southeast having worked in Georgia and Florida. He manages complex installations that range from a few hundred thousand up to $3M. He specializes in drainage systems and site operations, ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders and field crews. Known for maintaining strict OSHA safety standards, Grayson’s proactive site supervision ensures every Strata project is delivered with technical precision.
With fifteen years of experience in landscape architecture and construction, Jill delivers a premier pre-construction service experience. A high-level industry analyst, she specializes in data synthesis, procurement, and contract negotiation to protect the company’s interests and ensure seamless installations. Her expertise in project estimation, budget management, and subcontractor coordination is vital to maintaining the financial integrity and structural success of every Strata build.
Tanya manages the essential data, bid organization, and ITB communications that drive our pre-construction phase. By quantifying project takeoffs and managing daily procedures, she provides our senior estimators with the critical tools needed for final proposals. Her background in both architecture and landscape architecture provides a versatile technical skill set, allowing her to effectively coordinate complex data and ensure a seamless estimation process.
Dillon is a reliable team player who strives to deliver consistently high quality work. With 10 years of residential design-build experience he has been involved in a variety of projects and enjoys working across multiple disciplines to turn thoughtful concepts into successful installations. He helped establish AutoCAD and SketchUp design standards to streamline associated responsibilities including design development, cost estimation, and construction documentation. Dillon also plays a significant role in ongoing business development.
Amber brings 15 years of construction operations experience to Strata, managing the firm’s workflow with a focus on human resources, vendor relations, and inventory control. Certified in Agile Project Management and Effective Leadership, she oversees financial health through payroll, AR/AP, and contract management. Amber’s commitment to process optimization and project bonding submittals ensures our administrative backend is as robust and professional as our field work.
Valerie is a 20-year veteran of the landscape and construction industries, bringing a wealth of financial and administrative expertise to the Strata team. Specializing in high-level support, she is defined by her proactive approach to operational efficiency and her ability to streamline complex internal processes. Valerie’s deep industry knowledge ensures our back-office operations remain as precise and effective as our on-site performance.
Lendy has worked as an office administrator for the last several years in both construction and associated industries. She assists multiple personnel at Strata in administration, construction, and design. Lendy helps manage schedules and crews, assists our office manager with payroll, writing training manual updates and company processes. She also helps us with sample and material procurement.
Lizbeth brings a decade of administrative experience to Strata, anchored by a reputation for unwavering consistency and professional poise. Known for her "can-do" attitude and meticulous punctuality. Lizbeth’s commitment to providing a supportive, organized, and welcoming environment makes her an essential pillar of the Strata office team and a key point of contact for our valued partners.
Terry provides the company with a far-ranging skill set and in addition to managing our fleet operates our Class 8 trucks along with several other CDL drivers. He's a logistics specialists in the transportation industry. His secondary responsibilities include purchasing and maintaining vehicles for deliveries, registering and licensing vehicles and finding creative ways to maximize profits.
Saul has worked within the industry for the last decade in multiple roles. He has a strong background in landscape enhancements, maintenance, and more recently material transport. He helps Strata with pickup and offloading, spoil removal, and softscape material delivery. Saul has the consummate get it done attitude and works to maintain and efficient team environment.
